Digital Product Manager

Beautycounter is looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that support our internal teams and improve the customer journey in return. This role requires someone who has proven background in building impactful user experiences, backed by data. In this role, youíll partner with teams across the business (Customer Experience, Operations, and more) to help increase accuracy and efficiency of our internal teams through new automated and simplified manual workflows. You will own our in-house Customer Experience platform and its related feature pipeline.

To be successful in this role you will be able to:

  • Manage the product vision for our Internal Tools to improve the experience we provide our customers and the overall user experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the user experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Translate business needs, user needs, and technological capabilities into user stories and product specifications that are the basis for development and launch of product features and enhancements.
  • Assist with business cases and analytical insights for new product initiatives by identifying clear problems and success metrics, quantitatively analyzing related metrics, and using data to make informed product decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Partner with Product Design for discovery and user research, and to design best-in-class user experiences.
  • Communicate product status, key issues, and launch plans to key partners across the organization.
  • Set and continuously manage the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders, including the senior leadership team.
  • Track digital product performance including identification of key performance indicators and project benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify and resolve product issues that impair the companyís ability to meet its strategic, financial and technical goals.
  • Prioritize product backlog and projects based on business and customer impact

What you bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience in Ecommerce required; direct sales and/or direct retail experience a plus.
  • Experience with development of tools to help serve internal teams.
