SVP, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We are looking for a Diversity, Equity and†Inclusion†professional who†will be responsible for developing and executing DE&I†strategies and is passionate about building inclusive cultures and attracting and developing top talent from varied backgrounds and experiences.

In this role you will:

  • Develop a strategy that aligns DE&I† goals with Beautycounterís business strategy.
  • Further integrate our DE&I† beliefs and values throughout our culture through innovative solutions that broaden and advance the employee experience.
  • Be a strong voice for DE&I† and in the broader Beautycounter community, communicating effectively and regularly with internal and external audiences.
  • Grow the Associate Resource Group (ARG) strategy and provide leadership and support to empower and strengthen our internal communities.
  • Integrate key concepts of belonging, inclusion, and diversity into existing corporate and independent consultant programs, policies and practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, strategic planning, thought leadership, coaching, education and consultancy to leaders to drive key DE&I† business outcomes.
  • Work closely with the executive team to inform their personal leadership and organization strategy to advance function and company goals.
  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of belonging, inclusion, and diversity initiatives and our overall impact on culture.
  • Influence our diversity, inclusion and belonging story collaboratively with our Content, Creative and Brand Marketing Team.
  • Serves as subject matter expert by giving perspective, insights, and knowledge in a consultative manner.
  • Create, obtain agreement, and implement company-wide and field facing business specific diversity strategic plan.
  • Identify policies and processes required for the attraction and inclusion of diverse talent.
  • Identify non-traditional sources for diverse talent and build networks with key stakeholder in these sources.
  • Maintain focus on engagement and inclusion work at the company level both through ARGs and community efforts
  • Support respectful workplace activities and efforts that reflect an inclusive workplace environment
  • Enhance existing and launch new programs targeting early career and diverse populations.
  • Partner closely with the People Team to integrate inclusion, diversity and bias mitigation concepts into learning and employee development programs.
  • Drive DI&B throughout our field of independent Consultant organization Ė train, travel, develop, recruiting learning and educational leadership programs

We are looking for a someone with:

  • 10+ years of related work experience in D&I leadership roles
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to weave diversity, inclusion, and belonging into company objectives.
  • An understanding and application of the concepts related to diversity, belonging, inclusion, as well as the contexts and cultures within organizations that impact the implementation and management of effective change efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability of developing a diversity, inclusion and belonging framework that connected to an organizationís mission and business strategy and valued approaching problems from a perspective of growth and scalability.
  • Strong collaborator and influencer - ability to reach beyond immediate scope to influence and lead change initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders.
